Formulating policies regarding games & sports, deciding on issues of sports, giving guide lines about equipment to hostels, common rooms, consideration of University representation on the out side sports body or any representation concerning sports, fixing up schedules for sports meet & sports event, advising on Sports quota admission of students.
Composition
Vice-Chancellor as chairman, Deans of faculties, Dean of Students Welfare, the teachers of the Department. of Physical Education, the Physical instructors and coaches from the sports division, one teacher as nominee of each faculty council, four principals and four teachers of the affiliated. Colleges as nominees of the Vice-Chancellor, one noted sports personality as nominee of the Vice-Chancellor, ten students as per specification, two non teaching staff', NSS coordinator, Registrar, CE, F.O, MO, U.E, Asstt. Director of Physical. Education, the head of the Department of Physical Education & Ex-Officio Director of Physical Education as Secretary.
