Kalyani University Act, 1981


The University of Kalyani is a State- University
and its activities are guided by the Kalyani University Act, 1981
(amended upto 2001), enacted
by the Govt. of West Bengal.
The Act is supplemented by '
Statutes', 'Ordinances',
'Regulations' and 'Rules'.
This act replaced 'The Kalyani
University (Temporary Suppression)
Act, 1978, which in turn replaced
'The Kalyani University Act, 1960.


 
 

Accessibility

Kalyani University is located at about 55 k.m.
from the city of Kolkata and about 45 k.m. from
the Netaji Subhas International Airport at Dum Dum.
The University Campus is also well connected with
rail. Nearest railway station being Kalyani Main /
Kalyani Ghoshpara.
