Walk-In-Interview (Office Assistant)
An walk in interview will be held on 12th March ,’08 at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics of Kalyani University at 11:30 p.m. for a purely temporary post of Office Assistant on a monthly remuneration of 3500.00/-p.m. consolidated for the Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility of this University for a period of one year. The post will terminate when the project terminates (coterminous). No TA/DA will be allowed for attending the interview/test.
The assessment will consist of three parts: i) written test ii) computer skill test iii) interview.
Ø Job Description: Handling of all the office related work and assisting the staff of the centre with routine administrative clerical duties; maintaining the user’s log book; staying beyond office hours in need and to perform a variety of duties related to the assigned area of responsibility.
Ø Essential Qualification: Higher secondary in Science/Commerce with good knowledge in English language having good composing capability. Knowledge in computer file handling, proficiency in Ms Office with good typing speed.
Ø Desirable Qualification: Two years clerical/office job experience. Knowledge in Modern office procedures, methods. Temperament to respond quickly to requests and inquiries from the students & users.
Ø Age: Below 28 years (relaxable as per state government rules).
