Powers & functions of The Court
a) To initiate proposals for making statutes/ ordinances / amendments or repeal there of.
b) To recommend to the Court establishment of faculty council for PG & UG studies, University departments., Institutes, centres, libraries, labs, museum, hostels and institution of fellowships, studentships, medals, prizes, creation of teaching posts and officers' posts, conferment of degrees, honorary degrees, academic distinction.
c) To maintain University departments. , institutions, libraries, labs, museum, hostels etc.
d) To approve results of Exams. as per recommendation of respective faculty councils.
e) To decide affiliation of college/ institution as per recommendation of concerned Under Graduate council.
f) To appoint teachers, officers and employees and fix up emolument and terms & conditions and also to take penal measures against erring staff as per statutes / ordinances.
g) To prescribe and collect fees.
h) To make regulations.
i) To acquire, hold and dispose of property and take measures to augment resources.
j) To approve annual account/audit report/ annual budget and submit recommendations to the court.
