For BioChemistry
Three (3) years Honours (10+2+3) Degree in Chemistry having Physics and Mathematics as a pass subjects.

For BioPhysics
Three (3) years Honours (10+2+3) Degree in Physics having Chemistry and Mathematics as a pass subjects.

For Environmental Science

• Candidates must having science stream in Higher Secondary Level (10+2)
• Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in three (3) years Honours subject of the following disciplines: Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Geography and Environmental & Water Management.

For Microbiology

• Honours Graduates (10+2+3) systems with at least 50% marks in Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Chemistry / Physics / Physiology securing at least 60% average marks in the science subjects or equivalent Examination + 2 level and should pass in all science subjects including 4th subject, if any.

• Honours Graduates other than Chemistry shall have Chemistry as general subject in degree course and Honours Graduates in Physical Science subject must have Biology in Higher Secondary level.

Selection
Eligible candidates have to H.S. appeared in written admission test (Objective type).

For Molecular Biology & Bio-Technology

• Honours Graduates (10+2+3) systems with at least 50% marks in Microbio / Botany / Zoology / Chemistry / Physics / Physiology / Bio-technology from a recognised University or institute securing at least 60% average marks in science subjects in H.S. or equivalent Exam (+2 level) and should have pass in all science subjects including 4th subject, if any.
• Honours Graduate other than Chemistry shall have Chemistry as general subject in degree course and Honours Graduates in Physical Science must have Biology in H.S. level.
