The Library Committee shall be responsible for maintenance and management of University Library in consultation with the University Librarian / Deputy Librarian and Heads of the Departments and shall be under the control of The Executive Council.

Composition

a) The Vice-Chancellor - Chairman
b) Deans of the Faculty Councils,
c) Five University Teachers, nominated by V.C.
d) Deputy Librarian - Secretary
e) One nominee of Students' Union
f) One nominee of each Faculty Council
g) One Assistant Librarian, nominated by V.C.
h) One full-time Research Scholar, nominated by V.C.
i) One expert in Information Science, nominated by E.C.
j) One professional staff of the library
k) The Finance Officer
