Powers & functions

The Departmental Committee is the authority at the grass-root level for decision making on all academic (both teaching & research) and administrative matters of the concerned academic departments.

Composition

a) The Head of the Department (appointed for 2 years on rotational basis normally amongst the Professors and Readers of the department) - Chairman, and
b) All whole-time teachers of the department.
